Choosing an online MBA program can be challenging based on the sheer number of options alone. One way to narrow your choices is to focus on schools that are AACSB accredited. Founded in 1916, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level.
Per the Association, “the AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.” The hallmark of excellence in business education, AACSB Accreditation has been earned by less than five percent of the world’s business schools.
Because AACSB Accreditation is so exclusive, you can bet that many of the MBA programs bearing the seal will set you back $100,000 or more. This is even the case with some online programs. Fortunately, we were able to find a good number of AACSB accredited online MBA programs that cost less than $100,000. Some even cost $75,000 or less.
Though the MBA programs on our list are considered affordable (especially when compared to programs like the NYU Stern MBA, Stanford, Wharton, and Columbia—all are more than $200K) they are still very competitive. What else would you expect from an AACSB accredited school?
Take a look at our 20 top affordable AACSB accredited programs and the tuition costs for each. Note that tuition amounts do not include fees, global experiences, books, and other expenses.
